CHINA GLASS 2023
CHINA GLASS 2023
6–9 May, 2023
Shanghai, P.R. China
German Pavilion at CHINA GLASS 2023
German suppliers focus their activities on customer-specific engineering and process optimisation. That, in turn, explains the need for close customer proximity. In keeping with the adage "We are where our customers are," 12 German manufacturers of glass engineering technology present themselves at China Glass 2023 in Shanghai.
The German companies offer a wide range of machinery: from basic up to state-of-the-art machinery. Their advanced technology and the variety of products strengthen the economic performance, productivity and quality in all areas of flat and hollow glass production and ensure that these industries remain competitive. Today, the theme of Industrie 4.0 plays a key role in the manufacture and processing of glass. From the float glass process through to further processing up to glass finishing, digitalisation and increased integration leads to maximum performance coupled with minimum energy consumption. In addition, the main focus of attention for the machinery manufacturers is, of course, the optimization of existing and the development of new technologies. This includes new functions and thin-glass application.
The German presentation at China Glass is the point of information for all those who would like to get into contact with German companies, to exchange experiences and ideas and to learn more about technologies and trends of the sector.
On behalf of all German exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the Forum Glass Technology within the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) cordially invite you to visit the official German presentation at China Glass 2023.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
